Methods and rules for cleaning jeans from blood stains
Any stains are always an unpleasant and depressing sight.
But for a long time, no one is particularly upset, since almost all dirt can be washed, bleached, removed, and for some, ordinary washing is enough. But there are also stains that are very difficult and sometimes impossible to remove.
These are blood stains! Especially if they appeared on jeans.
Basic rules for removing blood stains from jeans
It is on jeans that blood stains are very difficult to remove. Jeans have a dense fabric, and blood itself is a multi-element liquid - a burning mixture.
And before you think about how you can wash off the blood on jeans, you should heed the general recommendations:
- Efficiency. The main thing here is not to wait for the next wash, but to immediately start removing the stain. The faster you start, the more effective the result will be. It is preferable to put only jeans in the washing machine, no other clothes.
- Cold water. Soaking, washing and even ordinary soaking (if you suddenly get dirty not at home) should be carried out with exceptionally cold water. In hot water (40 degrees), the protein coagulates, and the blood has such a component, therefore boiling water and warm water are contraindicated.
- Unnecessary movement. Do not rub the stain too hard, the blood will be absorbed even faster, and the stain will become even larger. At the first stage, you need to get wet (with a napkin or a handkerchief dipped in cold water) the stain and remove the top layer from the edges to the center of the blot.
- Washing powder. With a stain on your jeans, it is important to soak them before washing. You need to soak in cold water, as for washing powder, you can add it to water only after 15 minutes.
Adhering to these recommendations, it is not a fact that the stain will be completely washed off, but you will have the hope that it will be removed without fail, and the jeans will be like new.
Why is blood difficult to remove

In hot water, in a warm room and in the fresh air, it coagulates and is absorbed faster. Another component present in the blood is also important - iron.
It reacts with hydrogen, and if we all know that blood is red, then on the tissue, thanks to the gland, it acquires a brown color, and sometimes brown (if the stain is very old).
